Rocky is our 125lbs lab mix. He is a big sweetheart. After limping for 18 months we finally were sent to a neurologist. They found a bulging disc and pinched sciatic nerve. 3 weeks into his recovery he could not stand. MRI showed tumor and fracture femur. On Nov15 his left rear leg was amputated. I hope you’re both doing okay now – recovery is challenging but as everyone everywhere here says, once the stitches/staples are out life is tremendously better!
I’m sorry you have to be here but once here, it’s the best community anywhere. I think most of us would have gone round the bend long ago without the others.

Thank you Teri. Things are going better. He is sleeping most of the time right now. We are just pushing once in a while to him to get up to potty.
Such a handsome and magnificent boy! Rocky clearly is strong and ready to fight like a Warrior!
Thanks for sharing these photos! And as hard as it is to visualize during recovery, Rocky WILL bounce back and be the happy joyful fun boy again, but without pain!
